'...that he is simply doing god’s work. Across the globe, we see Netanyahu doing the same thing through Zionism.'
It's pretty unfortunate that as humans we can easily be emotionally manipulated by those with power using things like religion, nationalism, etc. Our emotions just take over and any rational and critical thinking are abandoned.
I posted a comment yesterday regarding your misrepresentation of Zionism, providing sources to back up the information I shared. I would like to understand why you deleted my comment, along with the other Jewish perspectives I tried to share. I also tried to offer you some helpful perspective about critical thinking and open dialogue, which you also deleted. It was objectively sound advice about how to firm up your positions and argue them well, but it appears that you deemed my voice irrelevant and erased me, why? Was it because I had a view that challenged your own?
To block / delete / silence anyone who has a different view from you is authoritarian in nature. I posit therefore that your actions do not reflect the sentiments you profess. I invite you to share what caused you to silence me.
There is a global campaign of misinformation happening, of which it is relatively clear your only knowledge comes from within an echo chamber. When one speaks about things one is not sufficiently informed about, one reinforces harmful narratives. Bear in mind that social media algorithms reinforce this. I offered to you my best advice for stepping out of an echo chamber and into a more balanced perspective. I don't see any reason to reject this.
You should listen to people who have more lived experience of what Zionism means than you do, not shut them down and block them.
The reason I blocked you was not because you were offering perspectives different from my own. It was for a few reasons. You do not have any personal details on your empty account, which is incredibly concerning. If you feel so passionately about what you are saying, I suggest you stand proudly by them by putting your name and face to it, rather than anonymously posting multiple quotes about Zionism, which I am actually not criticising in my post, which you would see if you had read it properly. I speak about how Netanyahu is using it, just like how Modi, who is Indian and Hindu, like my own family, is using it to oppress ethnic minorities in India. I mention Hitler very early on in the post, in acknowledgement of the millions of Jewish lives he destroyed under the guise of leadership.
I knew immediately that your continuous posts were simply to bait me into a bad faith argument disguised as a good faith argument, and I blocked you. You then proved my suspicions correct when you created two new blank accounts under the same name to continue to post messages. It became very harassing.
I do not tolerate trolling, in any way, shape or form. It is silencing and oppressive. If you feel that passionately about Zionism that you're compelled to write so much in my comments section, I encourage you to write your own Substack and stand by your words by proudly making your identity known. I certainly will not stop you. Furthermore, you are not beholden to engaging with my work, so I kindly ask you not to reply to this message and direct your energy to writing your own post rather than attacking mine and inferring anti-Jewish sentiments, of which there are none.
How you respond to this will show whether you have really taken on board what I have said and reveal what your true intentions are. I trust that anyone reading this can also make their minds up about that too. This is the last I will say to you.
If one puts oneself out there in the public sphere, and expresses misguided sentiments owing to a minimal understanding of politics and history, one can expect onlookers to respond with differing viewpoints and feedback.
I care little for point scoring, you can accuse me of being a troll, it matters not. Not all people wish to make a platform for themselves unless they can be sure of their expertise on a given subject. This is known as intellectual humility.
There is nothing within this comment, or any of the previous which you removed, which was disparaging, insulting or offensive. Crying oppression does not fit when you are the one silencing others and deleting their words. You take a rather godly position as you afford me permission to write for myself if I wish.
I suggest you attack your existing positions from every possible angle. Then you can at least be somewhat confident that you have firmed up your ideas in such a way that they cannot be so readily challenged.
I anticipate you deleting this of course, those in an echo chamber rarely dare to hear the voices of those outside. Only those with enough humility are able to do so, in my experience.

Lot of good points, Maya.
